Be warned! This tour is called a 'trek' for a good reason. They take you on two long - but very beautiful! - walks. The morning walk (3kms) is through a forest to get to the location where the Night's Watch find dismembered wildling bodies in the snow in the opening prologue scene and the bridge where the Stark's find a dead direwolf and her pups. The afternoon walk (3kms) at Castle Ward, the Winterfell location in season 1, is less strenuous. The final stop, at Inch Abbey, doesn't involve much walking, but does involve lots of swords! It's where Robb Stark became King in the North. So if you or your partner have mobility issues or you'd rather not trek, we'd recommend you don't do this tour. If you are happy to walk 6kms during the day to get to the most remote and beautiful Game of Thrones locations, this tour is for you!
