Wimbledon is considered the world's premier tennis tournament and the priority of the Club is to maintain its leadership.

Wimbledon Championship has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London, since 1877 and is played on outdoor grass courts. It is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and traditionally the tournament took place over two weeks in late June and early July. Wimbledon appears to be one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, following the Australian Open, French Open, and US Open. Out of those four, Wimbledon is the only tournament left that still uses classic grass-court instead of hardcourt. Every year, Wimbledon sends invitations to “worthy” and already well-known sportsmen but also includes one single junior who is yet to prove themselves to the tennis masters. Wimbledon traditions include a strict dress code with all-white clothes for competitors and Royal patronage. As for the snacks, strawberries and cream are traditionally consumed at the tournament. This last one makes Wimbledon tournament extremely worthy visiting.
