Rugby’s biggest event is headed to the wonderful country of New Zealand. This is the first time the event to be hosted there. Kicking off from September and up to mid-October, matches will be played in 2 different cities which are Auckland and Whangarei. It will be the ninth Rugby World Cup for women, as well as this will be the first time for women’s rugby to take place in the southern hemisphere. As was stated in 2018, the Rugby World Cup of 2021 will have the classification matches changed to quarterfinals. And, of course, the hosting country New Zealand is automatically qualified as they won the 2017 tournament. The following seven teams will also be qualified automatically, due to the fact that they were top seven finishers in 2017.
